Finchem To Make "Important" Announcement At Unfathomable Hour For Working Media

But wait, maybe he's finally going to free up the rules staff to hand out 2-stroke slow play penalt...oh, right, the FedExCup transaction is complete. That information release, suggested to be a done deal long ago by Golf World's Dave Shedloski, would certainly take priority over one of the best days of the year in golf!

Press conference/teleconference with PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem

MARANA, Ariz. –PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem will host a press conference/ teleconference in the media center at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship to make an important PGA TOUR announcement. The press conference is expected to conclude prior to the start of the first-round matches (7:15 a.m. MT).
