Final Round Rating Earns 83% Increase 
 
CBS Sports’ final-round coverage of the PGA TOUR’s NORTHERN TRUST OPEN on Sunday, Feb. 19 (3:07-7:21 PM, ET), which saw Bill Haas outlast Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley on the second hole of a playoff, averaged 6.2 million viewers (Persons 2+), which is the highest viewer average for the tournament’s final round in nine years (2003; 6.5 million viewers).
 
In addition, CBS’s final-round coverage delivered the highest rating for the final round of the Northern Trust Open in nine years with a preliminary national household rating/share of 4.2/8, up 83% from last year’s 2.3/5 national household rating/share (4.6/10; Feb. 23, 2003).
 
Sunday’s final-round rating peaked at a 7.3/13 with 11.3 millions viewers (7:00-7:21 PM, ET).
 
CBS Sports four “West Coast Swing” PGA TOUR events in 2012 averaged a household rating/share of 2.6/5, up 24% from a 2.1/5 last year, and 3.8 million viewers, up 19% from last year’s 3.2 million viewers.
