That's Embarrassing: Snedeker Injures Himself Getting Off A Segway

The silly season always seems to deliver a skiing injury or some other pratfall that should have been covered in a contract clause, but it's hard to imagine "No Segway riding at a corporate outing in China" making it into the fine print.

But as Brian Wacker notes, Brandt Snedeker's WD from the Australian PGA may make Segway riding the new snowboarding...

According to his trainer Randy Myers, Snedeker injured his knee while hopping off a Segway scooter during a corporate outing on Monday at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai. He suffered a bruised tibia and a strained ACL.

“I felt a pop in my knee and pain,” Snedeker said Tuesday night in a statement released by his management company. “Fortunately this is a relatively minor injury and no surgery is required, so this is good news.”
