The Masters Is Here! Your Must Have Apps

I'll keep it short and sweet. The best four days of golf have arrived. The azaleas are blooming, the course is ready and the players chomping at the bit.

So there is nothing else to say, except that if you have a tablet, there are two must-have apps to accentuate your Thursday Masters viewing experience.

The Augusta Chronicle has put together the beautiful "Augusta Golf!" Masters app with preview sections to download and updated daily coverage from the paper's crack crew, with lots of fun graphics and extras. Both sections, which you'll access in the Newstand app, feature amazing historical coverage as well. All for $1.99. The paper also still publishes the Augusta app with some of newspaper's outstanding coverage, though far less fun visually and without the archival access.

And the already incredible Masters app has taken things up several notches in terms of ease-of-use and a standout new feature with the 360-degree Gyro option on its hole-by-hole photos that will will have you popping a Dramamine. And best of all, its free.
