Guan Makes Cut, Besting Masters Non-Invitee Beljan

Brian Allee-Walsh reports that 14-year-old amateur Tianlang Guan made the Zurich Classic cut and besides being an incredible feat for his age, means he's two for two in U.S. professional events following his Masters low amateur performance.

Guan (-3) tees off Saturday 7:50 with Lee Williams, one back of Matt Every who said the Masters should give just one amateur spot and the rest to players "who actually have a chance."

Charlie Beljan, whose Twitter account sleeps with the same fishes as Every's, missed the cut. Beljan posted a second round 76, to finish at -1, two shots behind Guan.

You may recall Beljan moaned during the Masters that a player "can't even get in with a pgatour win. But 14 year olds are welcome." That prompted Every to chime in and well, Twitter hasn't been the same since the two went silent.
