RATINGS ROAR WITH CBS SPORTS’ COVERAGE OF WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS: BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL WITH INCREASES OF 173% ON SATURDAY AND 138% ON SUNDAY

CBS Sports’ third and final-round coverage of the WGC: BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug. 4 (2:00-6:00 PM, ET; both days), which saw Tiger Woods win for a record eighth time, delivered ratings increases of 173% and 138%, respectively, in the metered markets.

Saturday’s third round earned an average overnight household rating/share of 3.0/8, up 173% from last year’s 1.1/3 in the metered markets. This marks the highest third-round rating/share for this event in seven years (3.7/9; 2006).

Sunday’s final-round earned an average overnight household rating/share of 3.8/9, up 138% from last year’s 1.6/3, and is the highest final round in the metered markets for this event since 2009 (4.7/11).
