GMac: There Will Be Bit Of Tension Until Rory’s Legal Row Ends

Even though Rory McIlroy says there isn't much to possible issues between he and Graeme McDowell's relationship heading into the Ryder Cup (Martin Dempster's report here), the always refreshingly frank McDowell tells Karl MacGinty that as long as Rory is battling McDowell's friends and partners at Horizon in court, there will be tension.

From MacGinty's report:

"It's been a strain on our relationship, no doubt about it. We're not the same as we used to be," conceded McDowell.

And the Portrush man added: "Until the legal proceedings are over and done with, there's always going to be that little bit of tension in the air."
