Notah: Tiger Hasn't Ruled Out The PGA Yet

Fellow Stanford alum and Tiger pal Notah Begay talked to Woods Sunday and amazingly, even after this display, Woods hasn't ruled out the PGA Championship ("up in the air"). However, considering how severe the injury looked and how poor his game was to that point, it'd be highly questionable for Woods to turn up at Valhalla, no?

G.C. Digital reports:

“The first thing he was concerned with was making sure that he didn’t sustain a serious injury,” Begay said Sunday night on “Golf Centralwhen asked about Woods' status for the PGA. “So he’s going to have his team in Florida evaluate it. There’s certainly no timeline. …That’s all up in the air. I couldn’t talk with any certainty about whether or not he’s going to play next week.”

Steve DiMeglio reported on Woods' movements following the round and his plans for this week, if he were healthy:

Woods had planned on playing Monday afternoon at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, the host for this week's PGA Championship. But he flew to South Florida and will be evaluated and receive treatment on Monday and proceed from there, his agent, Mark Steinberg, said in an email.
