"Long And Tedious": Tiger Talks About Another Recovery

Tiger Woods flew down to Mexico City for some Bridgestone thing he was going to play with Matt Kuchar in a Steiny-packaged payday.

Because a check must have still come, or because he felt guilty WD'ing after committing (not likely), Tiger flew down only to answer questions that had him sounding like an old man talking ailments.

Bob Harig
at ESPN.com with Tiger's assessment that his second back surgery will have him out of commission for a while.

"I'll start my rehab soon, but it's a long and tedious process. The last time, it took me a long time to come back. Some of the guys who have had it [microdiscectomy] done said it took them over a year to be pain free. I hope it doesn't take me that long to be pain free.''
