When one comes to the quality of the bunkers and other hazards we pass into realm of much dispute and argument. Primarily bunkers should be sand bunkers purely, not composed of gravel, stones or dirt. Primetime Network Golf Back? Rory V. Rickie W/Celebs

Doug Ferguson says Detroit Golf Club will be the host and celebrities will be involved. Rory McIlroy sidekick Niall Horan is a 1-5 favorite to take a break from his management duties to play the June 7 event.

Either way, fascinating that Quicken Loans is named as the sponsor given the role the company plays with Tiger's Washington D.C. event.

The first two hours would be televised live by Golf Channel, followed by the 9-11 p.m. slot shown live on CBS. It was not clear how many holes would be broadcast under the lights.

Unlike the Monday night matches involving Tiger Woods in 1999 and 2000, there would be a celebrity component with this exhibition. The person said it would be "Team Rory" against "Team Rickie."

Still to be determined are the celebrities and the format.
