Happy Easter: WGC Dell Match Play Final Four

It should be a joyous final Sunday at the WGC Dell Match Play (breakdown of the proceedings here from Golfweek.com's Jim McCabe.) Except for my bracket, where I looked at the five-day wind forecast and dropped McIlroy for better wind player Spieth. 127th Brilliant.

Nice work though by the GeoffShackelford.com league leaders skye08scott, bigedd2345, bhiatt9, peter.balestracci and sportsbets23. Skye08scott has Oosthuizen-McIlroy in the final.

On the happy front, NBC/Golf Channel should be pretty pleased with the final four that includes a nice mix of stars, veteran familiarity and a little new blood to the big stage in Rafael Cabrera-Bello.

Jason Day should be happy, he's No. 1 in the world after this week. Bonus money should be kicking in. Bob Harig reports and Michael Collins interviews Day post-day four from Austin.

Mostly, that McIlroy-Day match should be a big Easter Sunday morning spectacle (coverage starts at 9 am ET). As Ryan Lavner notes for GolfChannel.com, these matches don't come along often enough in the WGC match play.

Oosthuizen should be happy that the claw grip he's switched to is helping just as the Masters nears. Lavner reports.

Last month, Louis Oosthuizen was so frustrated with his putting that he switched to the claw grip midway through the final round of a tournament.

“I felt really comfortable over it,” he said. “I started hitting good putts.”

Dell should be happy, even with Jordan Spieth gone, that the lad is out having fun after his loss. Hitting the lakeside scene with friends, including Rickie Fowler.

And the birds will be happy when the golf tournament gets out of town...
