Daly Given Six Months To Test Out European Tour Events...

...Doug Ferguson reports on what has to be one of the longest suspensions the PGA Tour has ever handed out. I'm not sure if the crimes (fat, drunk, stupid, angry) are commensurate with the length of the time off, but maybe it'll help him turn his life around. Or just to spend more time in the Middle East come January?

Is it, I guess, because of the camera throw?

How was Tiger punished for Stevie's camera drowning?

The smashed camera was just the final increment in a long string of incidents...the article once again proves that denial ain't just a river in Egypt.
Has JD been on "The Biggest Loser" TV show yet? If not, Finchem should send him there as part of his suspension.

Two words. Death Pool.

Loved this comment from Daly's manager:

“He’s always liked Europe,” Reilly said. “Maybe it’ll be a blessing in disguise. He can go over there and work on his game.”

Yeah - like they don't have any bars or bookies in Europe...........

Good point, DGS. He sure better stay out of Amsterdam. A whole new world awaits him there.

The best thing for JD is to kick him out of his US based job so he can spend more time doing his extracurricular activities: smoking and drinking!

A better punishmet would have been to make him play golf.

Another point worth making is other than Tiger who can draw like Tiger? So why get rid of the only other gate crasher the Tour has? I know... the Tour is run by a bunch of dopes hanging on to Tiger's coat tails!

A more creative solution would be to require him to:

1) Play on the LPGA tour EVERY WEEK, with microphone. David Feherty as caddie. LPGA pays him $1000 a round. Tournament sponsor pays him $2000 a round. Golf Channel pays him $2000 a round. FedEx promises to donate the equivalent of his "earnings" to charities of his choice.
2) Have a bedcheck by C. Bivens every night at 11:00.
3) Wear an ankle bracelet, with GPS monitoring by Annika Sorenstam.

This would:
1) answer the question of how hard/easy the LPGA setups are
2) save half a dozen LPGA events, and raise a ton of money for charities
3) alter his perceptions of women
4) keep him off the streets
5) possibly make him smile

This would be the best golf reality show ever.

i'm with jason. won't be long now.

i think jd should do a little pro wrestling during his hiatus. it's a chance to connect with his core constituency and maybe getting his butt kicked on a regular basis will help to wake him up.

Kicking anyone when they are this down reaches a depth usually reserved for ultimate fighters and main stream media.

Bravo!
