The Revamped 8th At Riviera, 2010 Edition

Riviera's infamous double-fairway 8th has been revamped (again!) and this year's edition is a real doozy. Trees down the center have been removed and a hazard/channel/sandy Swilken Bridge cut down the center, along with some new bunkering that George Thomas surely meant to install but just never got around to it.

I only get in trouble when I comment on these things so I'll take a rain check on the architectural critique. I'm liable to say that it looks suspiciously like something Pete Dye built in the 90s and that just gets us nowhere, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves (and sorry for no resizing or posting thumbnails that allow for larger viewing, but my server is having trouble with images today for some reason...).
