(Portrait) Video: OU Men's Golf's Best Of Rainy Day Trick Shots

While there should be a DQ for portrait cinematography, we'll just award a two-shot penalty for the early 2000’s portrait framing from the Oklahoma men’s golf team since the apologize in uber-millennial fashion, hiding behind the kid’s favorite app to share their finest poetry: Snapchat.

“Sorry about the video being in portrait, it was originally just supposed to be for snapchat and thats it. We'll keep that in mind next time ;)”

Nonetheless, there are a couple of pretty stellar shots in this cup of water/whiffle ball themed compilation of team trick efforts (I’m guessing this was filmed during one of many wet days in the rain-battered state).

A particular favorite lands at the 0:29 mark (ceiling bounce shot), at 0:56 with the ledge lob shot, the 1:22 bank shot and in fine cinematic fashion saving the best for last, the team chip in at 1:34.

These fine student-athletes can back up the playtime fun because, as GolfDigest.com’s Steve Hennessey notes, for the fifth consecutive year OU tees off in the NCAA Men’s Championships starting Saturday.
