Video Teasers: Irish Open Host Portstewart Golf Club

The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by Rory McIlroy's Foundation ventures to Portstewart Golf Club. (For US viewers, coverage starts at 5:30 am ET Thursday on Golf Channel).

The club has a short history on The Strand Course being used this week as well as its other two courses. Willie Park Jr. is the original architect, though the addition of new links holes in 1986 by Des Griffin makes it possible to host this week's European Tour event.

The Northern Irish links is not far from 2019 Open Championship host Royal Portrush and features some steep and huge dunes as seen in this overview
